Sample Five Day Tour - Science (Amsterdam)
Day 1
Depart school on executive coach for Dover. Coffee making, DVD and toilet facilities on board. Shuttle crossing to France and onward journey. Arrival late afternoon at our accommodation with sole occupancy.
Evening meal and a talk on fire procedures.
Day 2
Breakfast at the accommodation. The group will head for the Anne Frank house,where Anne spent so much time in hiding during the Second World War.
We will have lunch and then head for a canal boat ride or visit a brewery.
Finally, we will head for Nemo, the largest science centre in the Netherlands.
Return to our accommodation and evening meal.
Day 3
Breakfast and morning visit to Space Expo where students will learn about the exploration of space.
Onwards to The World of Ajax. This tour of the famous stadium will take us through the changing rooms, VIP areas and on to the pitch itself.
There will then be a visit to Zaanse Schans. Here, we will look at a cheese producer ,a clog museum , a windmill and various other Dutch houses.
Return to the accommodation and evening meal.
Day 4
After breakfast, the group will go to De Efteling Theme Park for a days visit.
Return to our accommodation for our evening meal.
Bowling.
Day 5
The group will begin the journey back to England.
Shuttle crossing and arrival at school in the evening
