Sample Eight Day Tour - Sport (Barcelona)
Day 1
Depart school at 4pm. Ferry crossing to France and onward journey to Barcelona with regular stops.
Day 2
Evening arrival in Barcelona and transfer to the hotel. Time and weather permitting, football and rounders tournament on the beach. Our children will be all in single beds. Talk on fire procedures.
Evening meal.
Day 3
After our breakfast, the group will have time for a swim in the pool before our transfer to Barcelona.
The group will stroll down the famous Ramblas, arriving at the monument to Christopher Columbus, who landed at this spot on his return from discovering the New World.
Transfer to the Museum of Barcelona Football Club
Early evening sports fixture
Return to the hotel for supper
Day 4
Breakfast, followed by a swim in the pool.
Transfer to Port Aventura, a popular theme park.
Return to the hotel and our evening meal.
Evening activity - disco night or flamenco!
Day 5
After our breakfast, the group will depart for Montserrat, one of the holiest places in Catalonia. This monastery is surrounded by chapels and hermits caves. The group will reach Montserrat by cable car and then go to the top of the mountain by funicular.
We will spend the afternoon at leisure at Aquapark.
Early evening sports fixture
Return to the hotel for our late evening meal.
Day 6
Breakfast and onward transfer to the Poble Espanyol. We will then head past the Olympic Stadium to the Olympic Museum.
Afternoon sports fixture
Finally, on our way back to the hotel, we will go to the “Slide”
Opportunity to swim in the hotel pool before the evening meal.
Evening activity – bowling.
Day 7
The morning will be spent at leisure using the hotel swimming pool and the beach for a football/rounders tournament.
After lunch, we will commence the journey to England.
Day 8
Onward journey to England, arriving at school at 14:00 pm. Evening meal en route provided.
