Sample Five Day Tour - Art and Design (New York)

Day 1
Depart school on executive coach for LondonHeathrowAirport. Check in and departure on flight to New York.  Arrival at New York. Transfer to the Courtland Marriott hotel located just outside NYC.

Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for NYC. We will meet our local guide for a walking tour of Chelsea Arts District.
We will then head for ‘Ground Zero’ and also stop at the small church of St. Paul, which recollects poignant memories of the attacks on September 11 2001.  
Onwards, taking a ride past the Statue of Liberty and on to Ellis Island and the Immigration Museum. We will also look at the monument to those people who died on September 11 and the eternal flame, situated by the ferry port.
There may be some time for shopping in the pedestrian area of South Street Seaport before heading for Chinatown and our evening meal.
There will then be an admission to the Observatory Deck of the Empire State Building. Return to the hotel in Chelsea around 10pm.

Day 3
Depart hotel after breakfast to visit the Guggenheim Museum.
After lunch we will visit the International centre of photography.
Time at leisure browsing along the famous 5th Avenue – Trump Towers, Sak’s and Audrey Hepburn’s favourite shop, Tiffany’s.
Evening meal and transfer to the theatre to watch a Broadway Show. Return to the hotel.

Day 4
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
After lunch, we will view the Strawberry Fields Memorial and enjoy some leisure time in Central ParkWe will then visitthe Nue Gallery. We will head past the Dakota building – John Lennon was shot outside here and Yoko Ono still lives inside.
Evening meal and return to New Jersey. Swimming in the indoor pool and leisure time in the fitness centre.

Day 5
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. We will head for the Sony Technology Wonderlab
Lunch in Little Italy before the transfer to the airport.
Flight leaves for London Heathrow 

Day 6
Arrival at London Heathrow and transfer by coach to school. Approximate arrival back at school
