Sample Five Day Tour - Primary Schools (Paris)
Day 1
Depart school on executive coach at 06:00. Coffee making, DVD and toilet facilities on board.
Shuttle crossing to France and optional visit to Vimy Ridge. Onward journey to Paris and evening meal. Arrival at our accommodation, the hotel Parisis.
Day 2
After our breakfast and French lesson, the group will transfer to the Stade De France for a guided tour. This will include the tunnel, the V.I.P. suite, the changing rooms and Zidane’s locker!
We will then proceed to Montmartre. Here, we will visit the Sacré Coeur and, in addition, the group will walk to the Place du Tertre, where artists at work can be seen. Children may even have their portrait painted!
Onward transfer to the Arc de Triomphe (we will try to go up it) and down the Champs-Elysées
Supper and a cruise along the Seine in a Bateau Mouche.
Return to our accommodation.
Day 3
Breakfast and French lesson at the hotel. We will then transfer to the Musée de L’Air et de L’Espace. Amongst the huge display of aircraft, the children may even see inside a Concorde and the luggage areas of a passenger jet.
We will then head for Versailles for a work study at the market and lunch.
After lunch, there will be a tour of the Château of Versailles and the grounds. This is a magnificent château and previous groups have been very interested in the stories which unfold here.
Visit to a family-run crêperie in the cobbled area of Versailles. The restaurant is very old and the children will be able to watch the pancakes being made. Staff will have the opportunity to test their own skills too!
Transfer to Paris for an evening ascent of the Tour Montparnasse. Children will have the opportunity to ascend to the top floor and this has proved to be an exciting adventure for all involved!
Following the Tour Montparnasse, there will be a tour of Paris by night, visiting the main areas for the children to see the lights and enjoy the atmosphere.
Day 4
Breakfast and transfer to Disneyland Paris for a day visit.
Picnic lunch in the park and an evening meal at the accommodation.
Day 5
Breakfast and departure for the United Kingdom. On the return journey, the group will be able to visit the chocolaterie for any last minute chocolate!
Shuttle crossing and picnic lunch. Arrival back at school at approximately 21:00
