Sample Five Day Tour - Primary Schools (Amsterdam)
Day 1
Depart school on executive coach. Coffee making, DVD and toilet facilities on board. Ferry crossing to Holland.
Onward journey and arrival late afternoon at our accommodation. Evening meal and a talk on fire procedures.
Day 2
Breakfast at the accommodation.
Transfer to Amsterdam and our first visit - the Holland Experience - a multi-media museum presenting the history of this country.
The canal boat ride will start outside the 3D Experience andthe boat will drop us off at our next venue, the Rijkmuseum.
The group will then head for the Anne Frank house,where Anne spent so much time in hiding during the Second World War.
Return to the accommodation and evening meal.
Day 3
Our first visit will be to a cheese market and a producer to witness the making of Gouda or Edam. The group will then proceed to the typically Dutch village of Volendam where we will visit a clog museum.
Returning to Amsterdam, there will be a visit to the Vincent Van Gogh Museum or Space Expo where students will learn about the exploration of space.
Return to our accommodation
Day 4
After breakfast, there will be a transfer to the largest theme park in Holland - De Efteling, where the group will spend the majority of the day.
Lunch in the park.
Evening meal.
Day 5
After breakfast, the group will visit The World of Ajax. This tour of the famous stadium will take us through the changing rooms, VIP areas and on to the pitch itself.
We shall then begin the journey back to England arriving at school in the evening.
