Five Day Tour - Art and Design (Madrid)
Day 1
Depart school for the transfer to the airport and flight for Madrid.
Arrival in Madrid and transfer to our accommodation. All students will be in single beds. Time to relax at the Retiro Park.
Evening meal.
Day 2
Breakfast and transfer to the centre of Madrid.
There will be visits to three famous art museums :
- the Museo del Prado
- the Reina Sofia,
- the Thyssen-Bornemisza
We shall also spend some time relaxing at the Plaza Mayor, Plaza Real and Puerta del Sol
Return to the accommodation for our evening meal : paella
Day 3
After our breakfast, the group will leave for Segovia. We will walk to see the Roman Aqueduct before visiting the Alcazar.
We will then spend some time walking in the pedestrian area of the Calle Real
After a late lunch, we will head back to Madrid stopping en route at the Valle de los Caidos.
Alternatively, groups might prefer to go to Toledo and visit El Greco's house and the Toledo Museum of Art.
Evening meal ordering traditional tapas
Day 4
Breakfast and onward transfer to Warner Theme Park.
Evening meal at the hotel.
Day 5
Transfer to the airport and return. Arrival at school.
